Did you know that there are 34 food trucks in Calgary? As Food Editor, I’m embarrassed to admit that I’ve only tried food from three of them – four if you count the fact that I’ve had Fiasco Gelato pre-food truck days – I just might up my food truck count this weekend, as the city will play host to the second annual YYC Taste The Trucks organized by YYC Food Trucks, as well as the crew of the popular Food Network show Eat St!

YYC Taste The Trucks will be tomorrow (Friday, Aug 10) from 11 AM-6 PM near the Simmons Building along the Riverwalk in the East Village. There are currently 20 trucks confirmed to be in attendance! You can RSVP and find out more information by checking out their Facebook page. Eat St. will be filming the Mighty Skillet truck there from 11 AM-1 PM.

Eat St. will also be filming The Naaco Truck on Saturday, Aug 11 from 1-3 PM at their home base, the Kingsland Farmer’s Market. Last but not least, on Sunday, Aug 12, filming for Braizen will take place 12-2 PM at the Riverwalk in the East Village.
