Calgary, you had better get your b-boy and b-girl stance ready, because we’re goin’ urban up in here.  Jax Society has organized  a pretty stellar event for this Saturday, August 25, best to clear your calendar because it’s gonna be re-donk-a-donk.

The Four +  festival is a one day urban arts festival featuring the likes of both international and local talent in the genres of MC-ing, break dancing, DJ-ing, and graffiti artistry.  Jax Society wants to guide YYC in the exploration of hip hops roots and local urban artistry all in a free and family friendly environment. These peeps are expected to blow your mind with their epic windmills, rhymes and such.

Urban-subculture icons like Nyemiah Supreme, Honey Rockwell, Kid David and Sweepy will all be in attendance and ready to rock-out.

The Four + festival will take place at Eau Claire Plaza from 12 pm – 10 pm, and a hip-hop-happenin’ after party at Ten Nightclub in case you’re dying to bust some more moves! There will be events happening throughout the day, however the thing to catch is the Battle of the Ages competition which starts at 1:30 pm.
