“This photo was taken during the Pride Calgary 2012 parade. I was about to walk the parade representing the “I’ve Been Bullied” anti-bullying campaign. I took this photo because I loved the vibrant color contrast, and specifically focusing on the “40th” balloon, signifying the 40th Anniversary of Gay Rights. The beautiful sky and people that day also complemented the love, warmth, and acceptance of beautiful Calgary.”
