“Skew Gallery is pleased to present its second solo exhibition of new work by collaborative artists David Foy and Jennifer Saleik. In their ongoing narrative painting, the “not-so-alter” alter ego characters of Dave and Jenn traverse a world on a collision course with disaster. In this newest work David and Jennifer reinterpret our complex and troubled world, through the creation of a fantastical liminal space where protagonists Dave and Jenn, and the animals surrounding them are busy trying to fend off the worst parts of the cosmic apocalypse that is befalling their world, with all sorts of scratched together rituals and hopeless magic.”

I released an arts newspaper in April, copies are available for free (depending if stock is available) at many locations around 17th Avenue, Kensington, Downtown(Galleries, Art Central), etc. A tote bag was made to support the newspaper, it is available online here. (Image of tote after the jump)
