Wyrd Fest was a one-evening, two-stage, musical marathon that occurred on November 14, 2009 – proudly housing 16 bands in one evening, with a double-stage dynamic creating a constant stream of fringe-musics from all over Western Canada. As a festival featuring 16 obscure bands, we were pleasantly surprised when tickets sold-out almost immediately. This success points towards Canada’s growing attention to the new-wave of underground music in addition to the curatorial power of Weird Canada (or so I like to think). Read more

Calgary’s ever growing collection of local artists, and visionaries alike, are gathering once again this weekend! This is something we look forward to every-time! You’ll be disappointed if you miss it, so come on down to enjoy the sights and sounds that Calgary has to offer at this month’s Market Collective.

Calgary’s 3rd Annual Urban Festival is taking place at the Olympic Plaza this Saturday!!  Come on down Calgary to check out this awesome event.  There will be so much great stuff to check out, bands to see, and tunes to dance too!
