Today’s dog featured on BLOG YOUR DOG is Cindy’s BFF- Sigmund & Carl Gustav! Here is what she has to say about them:

NAME: Sigmund and Carl Gustav (goes by Gustav) BREED: Standard Dachshunds, not the minis we were told they were FAVORITE SNACK: Buffalo bark (dried bison liver – blech).  Or whatever. OTHER INFO: They are named after everybody’s favourite crazy German psychoanalysts, Freud and Jung. They are not smart like that. Favourite activities include: wrestling, burrowing under the blankets on the bed, burrowing under the blankets on the couch, wrestling, eating apples that have fallen from the tree, staring at the tree hoping apples will fall from it, barking at birds in the apple tree (those are my apples!!!), wrestling, eating veggies that have fallen from the cutting board when I cook, staring at the cutting board hoping veggies will fall from it, wrestling, and being cute. Fun facts about my dogs; Gustav chews his claws, all of them, so we never have to cut them, and Sigmund requires sedation before his claws can be trimmed. Also, they once shredded an entire hockey puck in less than five minutes. Dachshunds are beloved because they are the handsomest of all the stupid looking dogs. They are among the worst behaved dogs I know (our fault, not theirs) and they bring us endless, overflowing joy.
